Quality for Maine is a four-step program designed to increase awareness of the basic standards of early care and education; to recognize and support providers who are providing care above and beyond those standards; and to educate the community of the benefits of higher quality care. Quality for ME has three goals:
A Maine taxpayer who enrolls a child in a child care center or home with a Step 4 Quality Certificate is eligible for a double child care tax credit on their state income tax return. Click here for more info. |
Sandpiper Children's Center follows the 5-2-1-0 Let's Go! program and has received a Bronze Site Award.
A Bronze Award reflects early care and education programs, schools and out-of-school programs that have implemented the Let’s Go! priority strategies. |
